Do you have too many things on your ‘to do’ list? So many things that you feel overwhelmed just looking at everything you have to do?
If so, I want you to consider that maybe, just maybe, you’re trying to do too much.
What is essential? And what can wait?
Who do you absolutely need to contact for personal or professional reasons? And what are the phone calls and emails that can wait until tomorrow?
What are the tasks and goals that you want and need to do? The ones that make you feel fulfilled?
And what are the ‘to dos’ that you really don’t need to be doing right now (or at all!)
Sometimes, we’ve been doing too many things for so long that doing too much has become our baseline.
But feeling overwhelmed by our daily ‘to dos’ should never be our norm.
The next time you find yourself saying, “I have too many things to do!” Consider, just consider, that you might be trying to do too much. Consider doing less. See how that makes you feel.
